Meta Creative Hub
Meta Creative Hub is Meta's official workspace for creating and sharing mockups of Facebook and Instagram ads. Teams can preview ideas in supported formats and placements, collaborate around mockups, and import approved concepts into Ads Manager for publication, without spending budget during the review stage. It is most useful for creative teams, agencies, and clients that need a consistent pre-launch approval workflow before final targeting, tracking, and delivery settings are applied.
What it does
Meta Creative Hub is a mockup and preview tool inside Meta Ads Manager for designing and reviewing ad creatives before they go live. Advertisers upload images, videos, and copy, then preview how the ad will render across every Meta placement — Facebook Feed, Instagram Feed, Stories, Reels, Messenger, Audience Network — without publishing it. Mockups can be shared via link with clients or creative teams for feedback without requiring Meta account access. The tool also surfaces inspiration from Meta's own creative gallery showing high-performing ad formats by objective and industry, and provides a split test framework for creating A/B creative variations within a campaign.
Where it fits
Creative Hub sits at the pre-launch creative review stage — after assets are produced and before they go live in Ads Manager — serving as the quality control step for creative.
Core features
- Ad mockup builder for all Meta placements without publishing
- Shareable preview links for client or team review without account access
- Multi-placement preview showing how one creative renders across all formats
- Creative inspiration gallery with Meta-curated high-performing ad examples
- A/B test setup for creative variables within a campaign
- Asset library integration for reusing approved creative across campaigns
Best for
- Creative teams and agencies getting client approval on ad visuals before launching campaigns
- Campaign managers checking whether an image or video will be cropped, obscured, or distorted on different placements before wasting budget
- Advertisers building a library of tested creative assets organized by objective and performance
Beginner notes
- Use the multi-placement preview to catch cropping and safe zone issues before launch; what looks good in a Feed preview is often cut off in Stories or Reels without adjustment.
- Share mockup links for client approval rather than screenshots — clients see exactly what the ad looks like in context, reducing revision cycles caused by mismatched expectations.
- Creative Hub mockups are separate from live campaigns; approved mockups must still be imported into an actual ad set to run — they do not go live automatically.
