Smart Bidding
Google AI 自动出价策略(目标 CPA / ROAS),用机器学习优化每次竞价决策。
主要用途
Smart Bidding is Google's suite of automated bid strategies that use machine learning to set bids at auction time, adjusting for dozens of real-time signals — device, location, time, audience membership, search query, browser, operating system, and more. The main strategies are Target CPA (bid to acquire conversions at a specified cost), Target ROAS (bid to generate revenue at a specified return), Maximize Conversions (spend the budget getting as many conversions as possible), and Maximize Conversion Value (spend the budget maximizing total conversion value). All strategies require conversion tracking to be set up and accumulate performance data before becoming reliable — Google recommends a minimum of 30-50 conversions in the past 30 days for Target CPA and ROAS strategies.
所在链路
Smart Bidding replaces manual bid management at the campaign level — it operates automatically once configured, requiring monitoring rather than daily bid adjustments.
核心功能
- Target CPA: bids adjusted to hit a target cost per conversion
- Target ROAS: bids adjusted to hit a target return on ad spend
- Maximize Conversions: spends full budget for maximum conversion volume
- Maximize Conversion Value: spends full budget for maximum revenue
- Real-time bid adjustments at auction time using 70+ contextual signals
- Seasonality adjustments and data exclusions for manual override during anomalies
适合谁用
- Advertisers with sufficient conversion volume (30+ conversions/month) who want bids to adapt to real-time signals beyond manual bid adjustments
- E-commerce accounts using Target ROAS to balance conversion volume and margin across a large product catalog
- Lead generation campaigns using Target CPA where a consistent cost per lead is the primary KPI
新手提示
- Smart Bidding needs conversion data to learn; launching it on a new campaign with no conversion history sends it into a 'learning period' that can last 2-4 weeks and often produces volatile CPAs and spend patterns.
- Setting a Target CPA or ROAS too aggressively (far below current performance) starves the campaign of impressions while the algorithm fails to meet the target; start with the current actual CPA as the initial target and tighten gradually.
- Avoid frequent changes during the learning period — strategy switches, significant bid adjustments, and large budget cuts reset the learning period and disrupt performance.
